How to use it

  1. 01

    Pick a platform

Reels, Stories, TikTok, Shorts, Facebook Reels, the Instagram feed or LinkedIn.

  2. 02

    Upload a frame

Any screenshot of your video or design. It's drawn locally; nothing is uploaded.

  3. 03

    Fix what's covered

Move text, logos and faces inside the dashed box, or download the template for your editor.

Why it matters

Text under the like button or behind the caption is text nobody reads. The margins here come from the same platform data our video engine uses to check every frame it renders.

Questions

What is the Instagram Reels safe zone?

+

For a 1080×1920 Reel keep essential text and logos about 285 px from the top, 380 px from the bottom, 60 px from the left and 120 px from the right — the rest can be covered by the interface.

Is the TikTok safe zone the same as Reels?

+

No. TikTok covers more at the bottom (about 480 px on a 1080×1920 video) and more on the right for its button column, but less at the top.

Do the safe zones change?

+

Platforms adjust their interface from time to time; we update the measurements in our platform data when they do.

Is my image uploaded?

+

No. The checker draws your image in your browser only.
