Terms of Use
Your videos are yours. Credits are for exporting videos, have no cash value, never expire and come back automatically when an export fails or is cancelled. Plans and credit packs are sold by Paddle.com, our merchant of record; subscriptions renew until you cancel. You need the rights to what you upload, and you review AI-written copy before you publish it. Questions: info@maestrocut.com.
1.These terms
These terms set the rules between you and MaestroCut (maestrocut.com), which is operated by Mehmet Seyrimez. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2.The service
MaestroCut is a web-based studio that turns a one-sentence brief into short promo videos: scripts and copy (AI plus a rule-based writer), music, scenes, a live preview in your browser and MP4 export. Previews and edits are free; exporting spends credits. Features may change over time.
3.Your account
- Use an e-mail address that is yours and keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be old enough to enter into a contract under the law of your country (18 in Türkiye).
- Don’t open several accounts to collect the welcome gift again; credits of such accounts can be removed and the accounts suspended.
- If you sign in with “Continue with Google”, Google’s identity check is also subject to Google’s terms.
4.Credits
- Credits are the unit used to export videos. An export costs a number of credits per second of video, depending on the quality you choose, and the price is shown before you start.
- You can get credits from the welcome gift on sign-up, a daily gift once per calendar day and promo codes. The amounts are shown in the studio and may change; campaigns can be time-limited.
- Extra photos, background cut-outs and licensed library music add a small number of credits, and the optional Writers’ Room has a credit fee too. The total is always shown before you start.
- If an export fails, if you cancel it, or if no render server starts it in time, the credits spent on it are refunded automatically.
- Credits have no cash value: they cannot be paid out, sold or transferred to another account. Credits never expire.
- You can also get credits every month with a paid plan, or buy a one-time credit pack (see “Payments” below).
- Credits granted by mistake or through abuse can be corrected; every correction is logged with its reason.
5.Payments, plans and cancellation
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Editor, Director and Maestro are monthly or yearly subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- A plan’s credits are added to your account every month; yearly plans also get their credits month by month. A plan’s other perks are exactly the ones listed on the pricing page.
- Credit packs are one-time purchases and work with every plan.
- Prices are shown before you buy; taxes for your country are shown or added in the checkout.
- We tell subscribers about a price change by e-mail before it applies; the new price starts with the first renewal after the notice, and you can cancel before then.
- You can cancel at any time in the Paddle billing portal (Account → Plan & billing → Manage billing); your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for. Upgrades are charged right away, prorated; downgrades start right away and the difference is credited on your next bill.
For refunds, see the Refund Policy.
6.Your content and rights
Your briefs, the files you upload and the videos you export are yours. You allow us to use this content only to provide the service (to store, process, preview and render it); this permission ends when you delete the content or your account is deleted.
- You need the rights to the logos, photos, trademarks and images of people you upload, and you are responsible for the claims and facts in your videos.
- Music and photos from the library come with their own licences (CC0, CC BY or the Pexels licence). Keep the credit line of CC BY items wherever you publish; the studio adds it to your post caption.
- The default music is composed for each video by a rule-based synthesizer.
7.AI output
Scripts and copy are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. Our checks reduce invented claims but cannot guarantee accuracy. Review every text before you publish it; making sure it follows advertising rules, platform policies and the law is your responsibility.
8.Acceptable use
You may not use MaestroCut to:
- create illegal content, content that infringes other people’s rights (copyright, trademarks, personality rights), misleading ads or scams;
- create hate speech, harassment, calls for violence or sexual content involving minors;
- spread malware, try to get around security measures or into other accounts;
- use it in automated bulk to get around limits, overload the system or resell access.
9.Availability
We provide the service as it is and as available. Maintenance, faults or load can interrupt it, and we may change or end features. We try to announce significant changes in advance.
10.Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the service at any time, delete your account in the studio under Account → Privacy & data, or ask for it to be deleted at info@maestrocut.com. A subscription that still renews has to be cancelled first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account is deleted, its content and credits are deleted too; credits are not paid out.
11.Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, if any. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and the mandatory rights you have as a consumer, are not affected.
12.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye are competent for disputes. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules of consumer law, including your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees, remain unaffected.
13.Changes and contact
When we change these terms we update the date above and tell account holders about significant changes by e-mail. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms. Contact: info@maestrocut.com.
